fIRST DAY

Today's tuesday and its the first day of school as a year 3~

First up was two cores back to back~ it has really been quite a while since we've been to lectures~ am glad to be able to laze around and do the usual stuff with the sharks~ it turns out that quite a handful of us are taking the same modules =) oh~ and was late for the first lecture~ wahaha~

We paid attention during the lectures~ how the lecturers behaved, who else were taking the modules, when will the lecturers be giving us breaks, the new pens each other were using~ and for better references~ we gave the lecturers nicknames~ Thats 'Fei Mao' up there~ he is rather amusing =) its rather convenient i would have to say~ instead of saying the modular code~ 'Fei Mao's Lesson' is more catchy~ =P

There were souvenirs from the sharks~ huiwen brought this nice peanut butter chocolate~ i had three =P and chau got us the scholar keychains from thailand~

And for some reason, this thing is supposed to look like me~ !?!

Lunched at science (megabites, banmian, chicken rice)~ den high tea-ed at the deck (jap, laksa yong tau fu)~ then we tried two new flavours of ice cream from the bazaar~ the green apple and the kiwi-peach~ conclusion: the strawberry's still the best~

Den it rained and we thought it would be nice if we could head back to science for some soup from this new soup store at the science canteen(after the much anticipated fall of Bambinos, the pasta store) before we head for our 6 - 9 lecture~ we din get to try the soup in the end~ it was closed by then~

Somewhere in the middle while the rest were having other lectures~ bin and i put up the outreach posters around science~ the other clubs were fast~ haha~ their teas were already all over the place ~

Another somewhere in the middle~ we queued to collect the welfare diary~ there were rumours that it was really nice~ and it really is~ it really is a rumour~ anyway whats inside is rather useful~ the contacts and opening hours of various places in school~ maybe they should add in the last pubilc transport timing in too~ anyway this exercise reminded me that i should look for my matric card though~

And the essence of this picture lies not in the fact that i was sleeping during the lecture~ but that it was taken with flash~ it woke me up alright~ along with many others in the line of the light~ =D

[in a year] persian

The sharks joined SOW08 as seniors~ Each group could only house at max 6 seniors so the sharks had to split up~ den, chau, minhwee, quan, mel, chancy and i were with Persian~

Everything about sow was more or less the same~ sleeping in the LTs, pails for bathing, the fun, the slack, the friends for life~ just that this time round, we were the ones who followed behind, the ones who stayed outside at the ucc during the fic, the ones looking after the bags when the freshies were doing flag day~ the ones who spent nice times together =)

Here's the little persians~ guess what~ they are now the seniors bringing their freshies around science~ haha~ time flies~

Sadly, this past year, i din really spend alot of time with the persians and the sharks =| but looking at the brighter side~ school is starting! really want to see everyone properly and frequently =)

Surprise~!

I'm back after one whole year~!

Think i shall clear the cobwebs by reviewing some of the stuffs over the past year =)

Project C.A.N.

I felt this liking for the oc ever since that meeting michelle's place~ maybe she added something to the chicken pies or something~ but anyway it was really encouraging to see many volunteers turning up for the event~ in fact we had too many volunteers~

Lead a group of michelle's friends for the can collection phase~ things were abit different this year~ cos i stationed at the void decks while the rest went door to door for collection~ hahah~ but the volunteers were reallie energetic though~ we rested for quite a while awaiting our lunch~ then shared with some of them other fun-filled projects that csc offers~ hahah im like a salesperson~

Aniway~ many ethelonter groups came down together~ see~ ethelonter is just the beginning~ =)

I did can challenge at toa payoh~ din get to go down to the bishan's booth~ had lotsa fun while reaching out to the public~ had to use my xiao bai lian gong to get aunties to donate~ hahah

But all in all~ the challenge was a success~ its definitely heartening and encouraging to see that so many out there are willing and ready to share with the needy~ I think pple out there are generally generous just that they dun haf a proper and convenient channel thats all~ glad that we bridged that part =)

Distributed the cans to the beneficaries =) i droved the van alittle at the carpark~ so exciting~ hahah~ The smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries are so worth all the effort =)

ETHELONTER IV

Ethelonter IV

I have so much to share that i dun know where to start (and partly cos i haven been blogging since whenever)~ anyway just wanna say thanks for the fond memories~ on top of the fun and craziness~ it was a good learning experience for me as well~ Really grateful for all the support and stuffs especially from the seniors~ my upperstudy zhenqin for the guidance~ crystal for all the help with the pub stuffs~ everyone who came down to make up the numbers for the shiseido talk~ hahah~ and the oc and councillors who made ethelonter possible~ all the hard work and sweat and oh yah~ the blood that everyone has put in~! (oh and the freshies too)

Especially group7 my dear family~ stop complaining that im mad okaie~ we've been through so much together~ before~ during~ and even after the camp~ thanks for being such great laughing stocks~ hahah~ i laughed so hard at my own jokes man~ stop crying and inducing the tears in others okaie~

But not to worry~ i mean we all~ all of us from ethelonter will see each other again~ afterall we are all stucked in CSC~ its hard not to follow that red heart~ ethelonter may be over but CSC will always be here =)

Sunday walk

TTT and i met to get to toa payoh together~ we began counting our flyers as we had to prepare them in bundles of 100~ at least we had something to do~ haha~ we din take too long to count that 1000 pieces though~


It was the rest of the 9000 that took us a little while~ hahha~ anyway we soon got into our groups (some with really pathetic strength but covering the same number of blocks)~ we collected our ammo and map and were ready to go~

Since my group (namely myself and yongfeng) had to cover 1400 units and zhenqin wenbin and crystal had another 1400 units with em~ we decided to clear my group's units together before we devise on what to do with zhenqin's 'mili' region~ =P


The first block took half of our life~ the 40 storey high monster flats had realli got a nice view though~ haha but we perspired just climbing DOWN the stairs~ thankfully reinforcement came~ yiwen came with carine~ =)

4&5

We headed to bishan after we were done with our toa payoh pub drive (siriusly think should call it a pub walk instead~) Janicia joined us after her tuitions after yiwen carine wenbin and crystal left~ we had our part 2~ =)


We still had about 700 units left at that point of time but help came pouring in~ michelle's grp~ cal's grp~ derui's grp came to share the load after they are done with theirs~ which is so nice of them to walk all the way to find us~


And yeah~ together as one group~ we finished our pub drive =) isnt that nice~ its really nice for pple like junhui and khoonhong and crystal~ junhui stop saying that we pian u okaie~ hahha~ its veh siong but we siong together rite~ thats our spirit marh~ hahah~ also the mc pple like yiwen(and buy one get one free de carine) and wenbin (seeing u for the 5th time in a week~ den tomolo see u again haha) and yongfong (although we lost u quite a number of times) and ejiot (and all those who thon over at jiayi's place~ must be ultra shag rite~)


Niway mich was excited that CAN is gonna start so soon~ although im realli tired and i smell like shit on my mrt ride home (or maybe it was terence~ hahhaha) ~ i like the 'feel' we had~ =) as what yiwen said~ CAN is like the siongest project~ maybe that's what brings out that nice csc-ish feel =)

Mac again~ NOT AGAIN~ we go there like twice a week man~

Cluedo rehearsal was damn fun~ i haf to say that i think all cluedo casts are crazy pple~ so crazy that i feel so comfortable~ wahahah~ =P currypok~ i wan the video~ =P

-TUE-

We had dinner at sukiya before our group 7 meeting~ from left to right~ do re mi~ hahaha


Sushi going at half price after 7pm at sukiya~ yup money from tiongwei's wallet~ hahah thanks for the treat again~ this is the 2nd time at sukiya ya~ but dun worrie~ when laopa comes back~ u wont need to treat so frequently again~ hahhha~

Although we (the waterboys) had a hell of a fun water parading others even before the mass games trial began~ i realized i din take much pic at all~ the only pic i found for the day was this

Had lunch with my siblings~ the previous time i had lunch with them was ... ... ... er very very very long ago~ anyway stole some time~ freed myself from the hectic schedule to walk around jp with them~ bought a pair of leather shoes and got to look ard~ enjoying~

Aniway went back to jp to meet with fellow again for lunch~ yup~ den we mrt-ed to school for the final trial~ yeah~


Everything was great~ except for the part where me, fellow and yuzheng went chasing the rest from AS3 all the way to our clubroom with pails of water~ imagine the discovery channel cheetah chasing after antelopes scene~ ya~ it was something like that~ we had supper at clementi before we caught the train just in time to hear the 'there are no more trains in service at this station. Good night' annoucement again~

Sentosa outing~ weijian so looked like a grant a wish beneficiary~ hahah~ jus kidding~ can feel luke's sha qi~ hahah~


Aniwae godpapa with stomach churning korean mixed rice and log master with the 'wat the hell~ u are telling me that this small bowl of shit costs 2.50' face~ (nei xin xi)

We meet early for our wish collection and ttt bought us fruit juices~ we spilt into two groups~ our group handled the woodlands kids while the rest were at yuying~


We gave ourselves 艺名s so that the kids could rem and call out to us easily~ im 小白~ terence is 小明~ lixian is AUNTIE~ xianhui is xian姐~ michelle is 很大声~ copycat is copycat~ wenbin is 小bin~ currypok is currypok~ tzehui is 大头~ but not everyone had a 艺名~ some had ALOT~ and this particular gawer had 9~


The two grps met up at redhill for lunch and our final stop~ Kids will always be kids~ aniway this wish collection so fits our oc so perfectly~ one word~ 聋 ~ the gawgals finally met their match~

i could hear them from where i was taking the picture lorh~

Destress Wednesday

Grp5 had a kbox outing~ which turned out to be a mini oc outing cos other than bin~ the rest are oc members~ but thats so not the point right~ it has been a long while since i could relax (although the collection day was quite relaxing too)~ din take any pics with my phone~ the pics will be too dark anyway~ will get photos from joaq soon =)

We rushed back to school for the cluedo final act meeting~ the rest who werent involved in the meeting came along as well~ haha i suppose cos there will always something for us to be done at the clubroom~


Indeed~ they got themselves busy preparing cloth for banner painting and helped out with some logisitics stuffs while the rest of us went through our scripts and brainstormed wacky ideas or rather sabo-ing each other~


I think it was a nice session~ at least got to know the other casts better~ i mean other than ejiot~ currypok and ttt of cos~ dun need to know them better~ hahahah~ think we're gonna haf lotsa fun doing the final act~


Mich gg qian tiong and erlinda were at the clubroom discussing about outreach stuffs too~ hahah there were so many mc pple at the clubroom~ for awhile i tot we were hafing a mc meeting~


TTT gathered once again~ for no good reason~ hahha~ after VAT~ we din make anymore public appearances though~ haha~ as we were saying the TTT trio is even more hong that the cold cut trio~ hahah -_______-

Yeah thats right~ but as of now (14 june)~ its t minus 18 DAYS TO ETHELONTER~! =)
